Thursday night was a much anticipated "Girls Night Out"!
Nichelle, Melissa, Nicole (Melissa's sister), and myself treated ourselves to an evening out while our husbands, Nicole excluded (...17 years old), and children hung out at the Burtons and ate ribs.

We had to be picky because Nichelle, at 9 months pregnant, didn't want Italian; Melissa and Nicole didn't want Chinese; and myself at 12 weeks pregnant (yes you read correctly for those of you who didn't know) didn't want anything to do with BBQ. We settled on plain old American food...and ended up at Chili's .

After being kicked out of Hobby Lobby because they were closing we went to my apartment to play games. The game of the night was Phase 10...which I pride myself in usually winning. Alas, I had never played with Melissa Burton before and was sadly disappointed when I lost in phases and points!
* I'll get you yet Melis...

To be honest, I think one of the funnest things about girls night out is being able to spend our husbands money without them having a say on what we spend it on and how much we spend... Forgiveness is easier to get than permission....

Sounds fun! After reading this, I decided I need a girls night out. By the way, we NEED more details about the pregnancy. I noticed how you slyly slipped it in there... Come on now, be a little excited!!! :)
Your girls night sounds like a total blast! I LOVE Chili's--so I am envious of your outing there.:-)
haha we'll have to play Phase 10 sometime when we see each other....
How fun to re-live girls' night out, although it makes me want to do it again for real! :) Thanks for giving me the credit I deserve in dominating Phase 10, and as for a rematch I say BRING IT ON!! You're right about Michael's, by the way--Hobby Lobby definitely wins!
p.s. the previous comment was from Melissa BURTON. I'll clarify from now on, seeing how you already have a friend named melissa!
