Hangin' By a Thread

Today I feel like a frazzled, tired, pregnant mommy! Lance and I were stupid last night and stayed up until 3 am watching Smallville, which we are renting and "giving a chance". After 6 hours of sleep (you all know I don't get up early) we got Beth up (who is up an hour earlier because we're off Daylight Saving) and started our day.
As with most Thursdays, we are watching Rach, while Susan goes to Chemo for some hours. Rach is a couple months older than Beth and prone to tantrums, like most 2 year olds. Susan warned me that today might be ruff.... little did she know that my own daughter would not help the mood any. After making the beds, doing the dishes, putting in the laundry, hiding toys that were being fought over, and putting bread in the oven to rise (Rhodes) I flopped (a very adequate word for the action) on the love sac to rest. Of course every time I sit down there is SOMETHING one of the toddlers needs and who better to get it that "Mommio", which is what I am now refered to as, thanks to Beth's ABC video.
Needless to say I'm tired, sore, fed up with kids, and feeling like a vacation (ya right!), and
30 WEEKS PREGNANT!!!
I'm usually not one to complain, at least in public :), but man, today, I just felt like writing it all down and sharing it with you (who some of you as mothers have been here more often that not).
Of course then I have to remember that Susan, bless her heart, has three kids, goes to Chemo once a week, is out a car for the week, and plugs along like she is the happiest woman on the planet. She is such a fabulous example to me and on days like this I need to
COUNT MY BLESSINGS!!But can't I just wallow for a bit?

rach i know exactly how you feel!! Sometimes it just feels good to get all of the frustrations out!! Staying up late just doesn't have the same appeal as it used to with a toddler or two!!

Hang in there, Mommio, you'll be rewarded soon enough, as I am told. :) And Melissa was right, great picture.

Hang in there! Soon a new baby will be there to snuggle... at 3 a.m.... instead of Lance. :)
We all have days like this, and sometimes the best thing to do is VENT.
