Memorial Day Weekend

We started our Memorial Day weekend on Friday when Lance got home from a long and arduous week at work. I had felt sick all day long and wanted to get out of the house. We decided to go out to one of my favorite restaurants, Fuddruckers. Both girls were great at the restaurant. As soon as we drove up to the apartment Beth said "No Dallas home..." (surprise, surprise... we spend ALOT of time there) so we drove around and looked at neighborhoods.

Saturday we began the day at "Pump It Up", a bouncy house, thanks to Baker Botts (the law firm Lance is working for). After eating pizza there and trying to calm Beth down after making her go down one slide with her dad we headed home. Of course I had to do the weekly grocery shopping but after that we headed to yet another Baker Botts get together. This time it was just a few LDS people having a BBQ at a partners house with a huge house and a pool. We dipped Izzy in the pool for the first time (I wish I would have gotten pictures of her in her little swimming suit!). Lance and I tried... and fell in love with Mario Cart on the Wii. We met some really nice people and had a nice afternoon and evening.

Sunday we did the church thing. We declined a dinner invitation from a Beetdigger :) simply because we wanted to stay home and BBQ and rest from the day before. We BBQ'd chicken and then took a nice drive to more neighborhoods to look at houses and areas we might live in the future. My favorite part of that evening was just knowing Lance didn't have to go to bed early.

Monday we started the day late and ended up going to the mall with some playthings for Beth. I finally found some matching dresses for the girls to get their picture taken in. Lance got some more dress shirts for work. We picked up some Chinese food on the way home and ended the night putting a way to tired Beth in bed.

Here it is, Tuesday, and raining. Lance is at work and staying late to finish this #^@&^ paper that is due next week. Beth is wearing panties and tells me every so often that she is not going to pee on the carpet... we are still working on the big potty... Izzy is sleeping, I'm still in my jammies, the fix it guy is working on our disposal that doesn't even touch cooked Ramen noodles, and we are looking forward to another week of "hangin out".

Hope to all had a fun and a safe weekend.

also, I appreciate that you inserted symbols for your swear words. I was getting really tired of listening to that potty mouth of yours!

Lincoln and I are totally jealous of Lance's family friendly firm. I am not invited to anything that Lincoln's firm is doing. We were really bummed out about it.
But I do have to say, that your little girls are seriously SOOOO cute.
