For all of you who have been crossing your legs... I mean fingers... for Beth to continue to use the potty THANK YOU!!!
We have survived the weekend without accidents or incidents. We made it through the Dallas Aquarium and out to dinner last Thursday, through swimming on Friday, through babysitters on Saturday, through church and dessert at a friends house on Sunday, and through the library today (Monday). The funny thing is is that Beth figures it's just a huge inconvenience to stop whatever she is doing to use the potty so she just holds it all day long. Today I had to bribe her to TRY after a mere 8 hours....
Of course she is still wearing diapers to bed at night. I planned on doing this until she got the hang of wearing panties during the day. She is in bed for about 12 hours each night anyways and I didn't think she would be able to hold it that long. That and since we are sleeping on someone else's beds without plastic covers I thought it would only be courteous to wait until we were on our own turf...literally.
So at this point things are looking good. Beth has got the routine down pat of going in the potty and then reminding me that she gets candy. She tells me all the time that if she goes poo in the potty she will get ice cream...but alas that hasn't happened yet. She waits until the nighttime diaper comes on for that :)
So just in case y'all were dying for the potty update on Beth there it is for what it's worth.

I know what you feel! How, you ask? How do you deal with hoping for no accidents or incidents with regard to pee and poop? With old people! It's always an adventure seeing how long I can go without having to change someone's pants and brief (adult diaper) and the pad underneath them! Yay for being able to go on a toilet! Really ... it's a blessing ...
