This is Beth's new friend, Precious. She lives next door to us, with three chickens, a couple bunnies, and a cat. Precious loves children and men... she is wary of woman because she has "chosen" her male owner as her own and doesn't want any competition. She will eat anything you offer her and we are grateful for her "sweet spirit" and inability to make any noise... unlike the rooster...

Maybe you could get Beth her "kitty" and just board it next door! And maybe you could just borrow Precious once a week and you wouldn't need to buy a lawnmower...
I love Beth's cheesy smile in all of the pictures. What a cutie! It's so fun to see all of the fun things you did this summer. The state fair looked fun. Hope you are enjoying being back home (with the cockroaches!)
Too cute! I LOVE her big grin! Britain loves animals, but too bad for him that we won't be getting any! Your girls are DARLING...just like you!
I am glad that Beth is happy to be home!! What a great neighbor, who needs pets when your kids love your neighbors, and the best thing is they get to take care of it, while you get to pet it and feed it!!
Too bad Jack and Beth didn't get along as well as Beth and Precious do.
Funny...precious is not the first thing that comes to mind to call a goat, but hey whatever. Perhaps now you do not need to get a pet when you have all the neighbors to look at.
