Happy Birthday Izzy!!

Izzy turned 1 year old last Thursday, the 22nd of January. I can't believe my "baby" is already 1 year old. As my mom mentioned the other day, "It doesn't take long... actually only 12 months."
I wanted low key this year so here are a few pictures of how we chose to celebrate.

The Austin Children's Museum
(ironically this is where we took Beth the night before her first birthday as well)

Izzy enjoyed the wrapping paper and bows more than her dress, book, and ball popper from Mom and Dad.
She also enjoyed sitting on her sisters big chair from Grandma Jensen. Beth doesn't share it easily.

Swinging, going down the slide, and better yet eating rocks was a great way to work up an appetite for dinner... in which I took the liberty of making MY favorite because I was the one who pushed her out a year ago, right?
(Chicken Broccoli Casserole and Jello salad.. Izzy loved it too)

Ready and waiting...

We don't love cake around here... well I don't love cake so we did cupcakes instead. I made Red Velvet ones so they would be as messy as possible. They didn't disappoint me. Neither did Izzy. Unlike Beth she dove right in and had a grand old time.
Way to go Iz!

Happy Birthday to my little Snuggle Puff !!

I'm learning that other people's kids grow up super fast! Mine, not so much. At least not during baby boot camp! Happy Birthday to Izzy!

Happy B-day Izzy! Oh man, I remember holding her when she was just little. Um, I think that's the only time I've ever seen her in person and now here she is ONE year old!

Beth and Izzy look so different from on another! Do you get that a lot?
