January...
Not my favorite month.
January seems to be full of "reality" after the holidays.
I think to some degree everyone feels the let down.
Our January hasn't been a bad one by any means but it is still
January.
Lance went back to work... 7-6
(I know a lot of you, who's husbands are gone days at a time, would kill for that schedule)
but after having him home for the holidays it was hard.
I sliced my finger DEEP while trying to cut caramel/toffee...
nearly had stiches.
Didn't... thank goodness
(the thought of stitches made me sick... literally)
Both girls are sick.
No preschool for Beth... both girls home.
We're all home ALL DAY LONG!!!
Going a little stir crazy!
I finished the 7th Harry Potter book yesterday...
I've already read it but thought it would be fun to read it again.
It was. I didn't remember any of it.
Now I feel like I've lost my Hogwarts friends all over again...
Nerd? Yes.
STILL waiting to hear back from our house offer.
It's a short sale so it's bound to be long.
BUT 3 months now???
I'm so antsy to move... and dejunk... and oragnize.. and decorate...
Things that all bring me joy... except for the actual 'moving' part.
We did plan a fun vacation with our fabulous friends, the Burtons.
We only have 108 days left.
I should probably try to live in the present,
that's what my mom would say.
I will....
Just don't blame me if I occasionally start thinking of cute swimsuits to buy.
Back to P90X.
I never thought I would say this but I missed it.
Exercise makes me feel better and I missed being on a schedule.
Now I don't feel quite so guily when I eat a gingerbread cookie...
I'm only doing my part in trying to get rid of them.
It is the 14th of January so I can offically start thinking about Valentines Day,
one of my all time favorites.
I end up planning Valentines Day every year mainly because I LOVE to.
I lay in bed at night and think of cute things to do for Lance
and my girls.
I cheated and ordered books for my girls yesterday.
Izzy's 2nd birthday is next week.
Lance is going to be out of town.
Bummer.
I guess we'll celebrate another day.
But I will still know it's her actual birthday
and be thinking of two years ago.
It's raining.
The girl are sick.
No one's dressed.
We need nighttime diapers, apples, and bananas.
MUST GET MOTIVATED RACH!!
Target here we come.

Querida Rizzie,
Have I ever told you I love your blog? It brings a smile to my face and a tug to my heart. I love you all and wish I could take a turn with the wee ones.
Un abrazo,
Mom
I know what you mean, January is always a down month I just want it to be spring so we can go outside more, I had a week like yours it seems like. Sick girls, no sleep and yes I think we went to target! Anyways I think it is so neat that you get into valentines, I need ideas so if you got any you want to share I would love to hear them! I hope your girls are better!
Oh I miss you! Do I ever mention that? January is generally a bad month for me too. This on'es been no different, but at least it's more than half way over.
I want to call you. I can't find your number. If you don't hear from me soon I still haven't found it and you'll need to email me or call me. I want to be in Texas right now. Where it's warmer. And where I have a good friend I could sit and talk ALL day with. :)
You can officially update the housing situation now! And that's fun that you have a vacation planned with the Burtons. Sarah and I need to plan our SF trip!
I hope the girls are feeling better by now.
I totally miss P90X too! If I ever live in Austin when you're there too, I'll be over every night to get my daily dose of Tony.
Sad day.... I love Valentine's and it's so fun to get into... but this is the first year in a while when I don't have anyone to plan for.... Oh well. I love a lot of people!
Look forward to your next installment!
