Preschool Graduation

Beth has officially completed her first year of preschool.

Rachel has officially survived teaching a co-op preschool.
Rachel is still uncertain if this is something she is going to be doing again...

No...actually it was fun.
Most of the time I just felt like I should be better at it because it's what I got my degree in.
After teaching 4th grade I realize I enjoy teaching the slightly older group better than the wee ones... I guess I like the feeling that what I'm teaching is actually sinking in.
But this was my first experience doing a co-op and we had a darling little group of kids and I was able to do it with some really good friends of mine.

The Graduation Cupcakes

Graduating Class of 2010
(Preston, Beth, Taya, Ginger, Lily...Mason was off doing his own thing)

I laugh that we make such a big deal out of graduating from "pre-preschool".
Most of these kids will have another year of preschool next year.
It was a good excuse to get together, celebrate the school year ending, and get some cute pictures.

Rach, I have been meaning to leave a comment for a long time, but usually I am holding a baby when I look at people's blogs, and typing with one hand takes me forever, anyways I am glad you guys had a great trip. What a fun way to celebrate! And congrats to beth on graduating preschool. Ps Love the picture of you in your snorkeling gear and the life jacket!

Haha, I know Mom thought it was silly to have them "graduate" and dress up for it and all... but I'll be honest, I couldn't wait to see these kids in their dad's backwards dress shirts. And I wasn't disappointed. They're darling!

What a fun ceremony! Beth looks adorable in her "cap and gown"! The graduation cupcakes were very clever! Give Beth a hug from us!
