The First "Swim" of the Season

We got an inflatable pool to put on the patio so that Beth could "swim" without us having to haul her, the stroller, her intertube, the towels, the toys, the sunscreen, her hat, and her water bottle up to the pool at the clubhouse... only to turn around in 20 minutes because she was done. Of course we now have a perpetual wet carpet and have to keep an eye on her at all times.... because she thinks that everything can be put in the pool, including her stuffed puppy, her soft cloth baby, puzzles, and books. Luckily we have caught most of these things before they actaully made it into the water. Yesterday we had a mild scare when Beth sat down on the couch in her swimming suit... JUST her swimming suit....and left a huge wet spot....luckily we think it was just water. Needless to say I will be washing the couch cover today.
