As many of you know... or caught from my last posting... we are expecting another
"baby bean"!!!
I am finally at the end of my first trimester and nearing the end of feeling carsick all day long. It hasn't been too bad but being home with Beth and stuck indoors because of either pouring rain or sweltering heat has been tough. I remember feeling a bit better during my last pregnancy, but I attribute that to teaching, and not having my mind on it, and not having to chase around Beth.
I have been craving Costa Vida salads since about 6 weeks...but to no avail considering there are NO Costa Vida's in Texas! I am counting down the weeks (and days) until we get to go home and I can FINALLY get one! I also miss Wingers wings...once again....none in Texas! Lance did mention that I was less picky this time around when it came to food...which is nice for him because he has been lovingly cooking all the dinners.
Beth thinks it is most fun to jump on "mum" and dig every hard bone in her body into my soft sensitive areas, which you can imagine tries the nerves. She is sooooo busy and active and just wants to climb on everyone and everything. I can't even imagine what a shock it will be to her to have to share her attention with another little one. I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it...
I am looking forward to wearing maternity clothes again..I loved it the first time around! My friends all tell me they are not as fun the second time around... I hope I am the exception :) I'm happy to say I'm not in them yet but I am noticing my waistline disappearing... the joys of giving your body over to a higher purpose.
We are excited though and looking forward to having another baby in the family. There must be a reason Heavenly Father makes us forget the sleepless nights, the endless crying, and the sore and oozing body parts. We just remember the cuddling, the holding, and the new baby smell...
Of course I can't help want another girl... because of all the cute clothes I would love to pull out and use again. Lance wants a boy, what father doesn't, and I can't help feeling like this one might just be one. I guess we'll find out in about 6 weeks!
We'll keep you posted...
