Conversation after receiving a birthday card for Izzy in the mail from Grandma...
Lance: Maybe my mom put "Izzy" on her birthday card because she didn't know how to spell her name.
Me: Oh, you mean like when my mom spelled it without an "e" at the end
Lance : (pause) You mean there is an "e" at the end?
Me: Yea... ya know my mom spelled it "Isabel"
Lance: Umm...isn't that how you spell it?
Me: NO!! It's "Isabelle"
Lance: Uh oh...I think I might have spelled it wrong on the insurance application.

WEll at least it is lance's fault for your mother in law spelling it wrong! It took me a couple of years to spell your name right!
I so can relate. It took Ryan 3 years to remember my birthdate. He still has to ask me when the kids' birthdays are...like he wasn't there or something.
