This year I was able to:
- Go to a quilting class and work on a quilt I am making for Izzy (Lance graciously stayed home from school to watch the girls)
- Went to the Botanical Gardens to see the flowers and get some pictures
- Take a much needed nap :)
- Go to Chuy's with Lance for dinner
-Eat my banana split ice cream cake I made myself
- Watch Quantum of Solace after the girls were in bed

Stopping to "smell the roses" on such a lovely day...
It was lovely birthday! Lance and the girls gave me a couple shirts and some exercise clothes. Lance also surprised me with a gift certificate for a massage. I can't wait! He also gave me an Easter Lily, which I love and look forward to every year.
My mom gave me a book, which I am ever so grateful for, and my dearest friend gave me a most prized possession, of which both Beth and I am ecstatic about... to remind us that we are "All In This Together" :)

Sounds like a lovely birthday, filled with all the good stuff of life. Especially a nap! You are a lucky girl! PS- I went on a nice long walk yesterday, and I was having so many memories of our misspent youth! I cherish those memories with you!!!
